The Middle Years Programme (MYP): What is it?

Rather than providing teachers with a curriculum, the MYP serves as a framework that teaches them how to teach and evaluate students. The MYP is far more flexible and less prescriptive than the National Curriculum for England (as well as the Cambridge International Primary Curriculum). It is more multidisciplinary and places more emphasis on non-academic qualities like global awareness and civic and international-mindedness.

In secondary education, students continue to study a broad range of subjects that are well-known to teachers.
